Why did I start this?

I am currently teaching my eighth year in the classroom, with experience across KS2, mostly in Year 6. Along the way, I lost a lot of my evenings and weekends to marking, planning and hunting down resources that never quite fit what my class actually needed. So I decided to build PrimaryHQ.

What makes it different?

I am not a company guessing what teachers want from the outside. I am in a classroom every day, so everything I build starts from something I have genuinely needed myself, or that I know would benefit teachers across the school.

What's first?

I have created an UKS2 Reading Comprehension Generator: reading comprehension papers that actually feel like a KS2 SATs paper - not generalised texts and questions, but texts and questions that are tailored to target key reading skills to ensure pupils feel confident to tackle their SATs.

What's next?

Further resources and tools for SATs preparation, focused on SPaG and Maths, with more subjects to follow, and hopefully a lot more time handed back to teachers like you.
